Early Years Care

All kinds of people work with children and they need a wide variety of role models to help them develop their Skills.

It is extremely rewarding if you have passion and the motivation to work with children and oversee their development and well-being whilst they’re in your care.

What opportunities are there?

You’re in a workforce that enjoys training to the highest standards. There are great opportunities to develop your career through completion of a level 2 NVQ in Children’s Care Learning & Development which opens the door for you to progress to development work, Management or even become a qualified Teacher.

National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and Apprenticeships

These are work related, competence based qualifications accredited by the industry via Awarding Bodies. You are required to build a portfolio of evidence around the every day tasks and responsibilities undertaken at work and increase your skills and knowledge to meet the required standard.

To achieve a full Apprenticeship Learners are required to complete the following:

• NVQ
• Technical Certifificate
• Key Skills at Level 1
