A4e Skills for Business and the Employer Journey

Background Postit

Developing a skilled workforce is vital to the success of all UK businesses. Research into staff skills in the workplace by the National Employers Survey* has identified three key obstacles to business success:

  • Employers had to fill vacancies with inappropriately skilled staff
  • Staff lacked motivation
  • Staff failed to keep up with change

A4e Skills is contracted by the LSC to deliver work related training programmes and nationally accredited qualifications that will improve skill levels within the UK workforce and help employers to:

  • Develop a more flexible and adaptable work force
  • Identify and improve opportunities to promote from within
  • Increase their productivity

*Research produced in 2007 by: The Learning Skills Council (LSC), Department of Innovation, Universities and Schools (DIUS) and the Skills Development Agency (SDA)

How does A4e Skills achieve this with Employers?

We work with employers to deliver training programmes and qualifications that are relevant and enable employees to maximise their effectiveness.

Through our experience working with organisations like yours we have established a number of key delivery steps that we call the Employer Journey.

Using this approach we are able to ensure that the training, support and guidance we deliver will impact on your business in a positive way, ultimately increasing productivity and improving your bottom line.
