We'd like everyone to celebrate vocational qualifications together on Wednesday 23rd June 2010

VQ Day is fast approaching and this year it promises to be bigger and better than ever. Wednesday 23rd June 2010 is the day students, teachers and employers will come together to celebrate and promote vocational learning.

New for this year's event, we're offering students the chance to win a short-term creative and performing arts internship with Arlene Phillips in our Industry Insider Prize. Arlene and a panel of judges will shortlist five finalists to submit a creative proposal, and from these choose a winner.

You can be part of this year's VQ Day by simply adding your name to the VQ Roll of Honour or hosting your very own VQ Day event at your school, college or workplace. For all the help you need to host your own event visit our new-look website, simply download the action pack and get organizing. While you're there have a look around, you'll find highlights and pictures from past VQ Days as well as a place to order your free promotional posters and leaflets. Just remember to place your order before May 1st.

Don't forget to download the form to nominate a student for our Learner Of The Year and Young Learner Of The Year awards. Lucky winners will come to London to receive their award and celebrate with other vocational learners. Get nominating and keep your fingers crossed.
