The A4e Skills Learner Journey

A4e Skills delivers training and qualifications to 1000's of Learners across a wide range of industry sectors from Retail to Hospitality and Horticulture.

Our main focus is delivering NVQs and Apprenticeships that enable you to develop your skills and improve your career prospects and opportunities. 

We have formalised our work with Learners into 7 key steps that we call the Learner Journey.

The stages of your Journey

  1. Induction and Initial Assessment
  2. With your Assessor build a Learning Plan
  3. Carry out Learning and Assessment
  4. Review at three months
  5. Further Learning and Assessment
  6. Achievement and Certification
  7. Celebrate your Success

Your Evidence

What kind of evidence counts towards your qualification:

  • Questions and Answer sessions
  • Examples of your everyday work and responsibilities
  • Customer and Management Testimonials
  • Observations and Case Studies

Your Achievement

To achieve you Award your evidence must be:

  • Valid
  • Produced by you
  • Sufficient to meet awarding body standards

£2500 Employer Grant to take on Apprentices

The National Apprenticeship Service will provide up to 5,000 Apprenticeship Grants for Employers of 16 and 17 year olds (AGE 16 and 17) with a value of £2,500 to encourage employers to take on unemployed 16-17 year olds as apprentices.
